Ok, ive tried to search around but i thought there may be someone on here who knows what they are talking about

After installing Vista i can't get my soundcard to work with Digital or 5.1 iam only getting stero in 2 speakers

some reason that post didnt come out right

Anyhow i installed Vista and can't get the 5.1 Digital working. Xp worked .The Vista Drivers are avalible and work. But the software to tweek the soundcard don't install or work. The stereo works with 2 speakers but thats all. i spent a S*** load of the sound and video for my new PC and very happy with it all. i love Vista and hope i can get it all the work properly

Are you sure you enabled 5.1 in the control panel > sound and select 5.1?

i have done that, but now it won't work altogether, i guess after i have a sleep ill get back to the draw board. haha

Its a problem with the drivers provided by Creative. You can visit their support forum to read more information about it, but they are supposed to be releasing new drivers to fix these issues this week.

i did have them in the right plus and thought to myself. ill get this to work and in the dark pulled em out, have to put them back in the right way in the morning i guess I have to install Vista again cause when i installed it it didnt format the drives first and installed over Xp i had on it and now i have no space on the drivers to play with
