I posted a similar topic on the audio/video hardware forum,m and i get no answer :(

i got vista, and now i cant hear anything from my speakers (i had the sigmatel audio driver) it didnt work, so i downloaded hih definition audio divice. it says its working fine, but i still cant hear anything (if it matters, my speakers are from CREATIVE)

Did you make any recent changes? (install a graphics card, etc)

yeah...i recently INSTALLED vista :P_HMN_

Actually i meant the hardware aspect, but what is the exact name of the speakers model and what type of Vista did you install?

I have sigmatel audio as well, I have Vista installed. It works fine, although I have to switch to windows XP mode to get sound to play in Bioshock...

no new hardware, and the word "SBS260" is written on both my speakers, so i guess thats the model

yep, my speakers are sbs260
