Vista+sigmatel audio

I posted a similar topic on the audio/video hardware forum,m and i get no answer :(

i got vista, and now i cant hear anything from my speakers (i had the sigmatel audio driver) it didnt work, so i downloaded hih definition audio divice. it says its working fine, but i still cant hear anything (if it matters, my speakers are from CREATIVE)

Did you make any recent changes? (install a graphics card, etc)

Actually i meant the hardware aspect, but what is the exact name of the speakers model and what type of Vista did you install?

no new hardware, and the word "SBS260" is written on both my speakers, so i guess thats the model

yep, my speakers are sbs260

I have sigmatel audio as well, I have Vista installed. It works fine, although I have to switch to windows XP mode to get sound to play in Bioshock...storminormin

? you can switch back to xp?
