I only have one working hand (though I have a mappable 13-button mouse) and I'm looking to be able to play strangers and make friends via voice chat. Does any pc mp game allow for these things?

If you're into RTS kind of games, I would highly suggest Tom Clancy’s EndWar. I remember trying the demo on my Xbox 360(don't worry it's on PC too) and I got hooked to the game just with the voice commands. I don't remember even touching the controller, all I remember is giving orders via my voice. Hope this helps.

hmm diablo styles games are perfectly playable with a mouse with 6-7 programmable buttons. Games like Diablo, torchlight series, grim dawn, titan quest and van helsing. Alot of Strategy games are also playable only with mouse like civilization etc

I can't think of a lot of multiplayer games (strategy or otherwise) that work through voice commands. One game that very recently came out that is completely controlled through voice commands (single player, though) is an indie title called "There Came an Echo".

But check out this program. It turns custom voice commands into keyboard/mouse/joystick/controller macros. It may allow you to play strategy games online without keyboard support.

as far as making friends goes, i would suggest an MMO. MMOs have tons of guilds catering to all types of players and many of them like to communicate over voice. MMOs are also much more social by nature.

Good point. MMOs also tend to be less "reflex oriented" as opposed to other game types. This means they would lend well to single hand control with a multifunction mouse.

You should check out the following website:

They may have some solutions to help you as well. They help gamers with all kinds of disabilities and even make custom devices for people. It is very cool.

League of Legends? the whole game is based on mouse clicking and a couple of skills; all you need to do is to join some TeamSpeak server.

I'm sure there're alot of LoL community sites that let you find other people and play with them; it is a teamwork game.
