volition on a long road to redemption.. no more poor ports

volition has decided to change their ways.. back when they decided it would be a better use of their time to outsource pc ports of their games to another companies or companies. that ends TONIGHT

volition has made it very clear they will be handling pc ports personnally from this point forward.

this starts with red faction: armageddon and saints row 3 and wont be changing in the forseeable future.

If Saints Row 3 runs well unlike 2 I would be happy, I still remember how bad it ran on my previous setup, I wonder if I can run it better now.

I'm so glad they're making an SR3 full PC version. The SR2 port is horrible, but with some mods (Gentlemen of the Row FTW) the game is fantastic.

Never been into Red Faction, but SR3 just looks fantastic. I seldom laugh out loud while reading game previews, but GameInformer's summary of the opening mission had me cracking up in paroxysms of morbid glee.

edit: ahh MyopicCanadian beat me to the thought :D yeah, having played RF:G on the 360 first, playing it on the PC was a huge WTF moment with everything running in hyperspeed

That's the biggest flaw of that game. The hyperspeed. Couldn't almost understand anything and I wished there was some program to slow it down. I might get it for 360, if I'm going to play it again.

Same here. Played it on Xbox 360 back when it came out and bought it again in a steam sale last year. I didn't notice any speed difference at all between the 2 versions.

99% of thq gamrs are coming to pc (excpect fighting games) so what the differnce if they make the pc version themsleves or if another studio makes it? Capcom pc verisons that were made by themsevles like RE5, SF4 DMC4 e.t.c. were great much better than pc versions that were made by other studios like RE and DMC3 i think it is the same case with THQ right?
