I just ordered NWN2 and The Witcher. I'm also getting DA:O and ME2 some time this year. I've already played Diablo/II, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Mass Effect. What elase should I get? What should I look forward too? Please don't recommend anything too old (no more than 5 years) unless you beleive the game in question is just so awesome that you think everyone in the world should play it.

a notible omission from that list is "Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines"

Deus ex, is also one to watch, altho it is a FPS/RPG hybrid, it does start off slow, but when it hits its stride, it proves to be one of the better rpg experiences out there.

Risen is sort of good, altho it stands out to me as a bit bland, I still consider it a good game (how oddly it sounds, I do think it is a good game, just not for me).

To be honest there aint alot of RPGs who can match up to The Witcher in my mind, I do have an odd taste in games, but that game is just so incredibly well made.

Hmm... Out of those I mentioned, VTM:Bloodlines, are by far the in this post to keep an eye out for, it has alot of ways to solve problems, really unique "races" (note:clans), and some of the best Darn NPCs Ive ever come across in a game, the last 1/3 isa bit too heavy on the action to me, butthat game is one I never forget ^^

Risen was developed by a German studio, Torchlight was developed by Runic Games (who have as part of their talent some of the original creators of Diablo, including the music composer from Diablo).
