W40k Retribution VS Space Marine

Hi Guys!

As usual i have a small dilemah here. You see, I'm a huge Warhammer fan and it so happens that i got some spare cash that i'd like to spend on one of the games mentioned in the title. I do realise that comparing both games is like comparing apples and oranges since they are not in the same genere... Still I have some doubts about both games, specifically when it comes to replay value and the multiplayer aspect... In Retribution I can play SP with different factions and all, but i've herd that multiplayer sucks a bit, not gameplay wise ofcourse, it's matchmaking that's not quite as well executed as in previous games... Though in Space Marine MP looks great and all but after playing the demo (which i thought was awesome), i'm afraid that the SP campaigne might get repetative and old pretty fast... What do You guys think? Which would be the best choice and why? Thanks for the feedback! I really appriciate Your help! Cheers!! xD

WH40k Space Marine! No doubt about it! It looks to be one of the best games of 2011!

Retribution is good, but I found the campaign is only worth playing through once as once of the factions, and the multiplayer matchmaking system works reasonably well but the problem lies in the lack of players. It can take around 5 minutes to find a 3v3 game if you are playing at an odd time.

Space Marine isn't out yet, so no one knows what the size or quality of the multiplayer community will be like

You can pull one of two stunts:

Get Retribution now because its fairly cheap and wait for a sale on Space Marine

Get Space Marine now and get Retribution when it becomes dirt cheap on sale.
