THE MODEL IS THE SANYO 30" HDTV 16X9 MODEL # HT30746   it's 1080i

here is the link to Sanyo's site on it http://us.sanyo.com/entertainment/televisions/digital/index.cfm?productID=1240

********** IT'S CLERANCED AS OF TODAY FOR $224.00 BUCKS IN THE STORE****** IM SO FREAKIN HAPPY!

OK, this is a sick deal.  The Sanyo Vizon 30 inch 16x9 1080i HDTV is clearanced right now (I just bought one, and got the extended 2 year warranty for only 17 bucks more) at wal-mart..  There is stock, and this TV was over 600 less than 3 months ago... It just dropped.. The TV is awesome. It has 2 component, 1 composite and 1 HDMI port, and a digital in for receiving free over the air local channels.  I have my Direct TV and Tivo on it now NON HD, but im upgrading that part very soon. It looks awesome.. It's a CRT technology, so the picture is better than LCD...  Bottom line, the xbox360 is 1080i, and this TV is 1080i only.. You can get the power, HDTV and all the bells/whistles, plus good service from Sanyo (And with extended warranty 3 years from purchase) for $224!!!! INSANE!  GO TO YOUR LOCAL WAL-MART AND PRAY THEY HAVE ONE!  THIS TV ROCKS FOR THE PRICE, I'M SO ESTATIC TO HAVE IT.. I went to buy a standard TV, and this one WAS CHEAPER!  ITS NOT ADVERTISED, YOU HAVE TO HOPE THEY HAVE STOCK LEFT!! (They have some in my area, not many, I'm in Denver area).. INSANE DEAL, Sanyon is not making this TV anymore, but the newer ones have much improved circuity and tube ove the original models that sold for 800-900 a year ago.. I just had to share this info with you all, and hope you guys can get one...

If you didnt know, Phillips and Sanyo, same tube! Same technology.. Plus, this Tv is good.. The price is  a one-time deal, and it will last until they are gone, which I would say is within the week..  I just stumbled upon it, and for 200 bucks brand new to get 1080I with built in HDTV TUNER.. Dude, for real!  Also, this link tells about the company making the processor for it (Zoran is making the guts, read the following link)  http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=109&STORY=/www/story/04-10-2006/0004337260&EDATE=

You can find a better deal, please let me know.. I'm watching it right now with regular Direct TV, the picture rocks!

HAPPY AS *** IN COLORADO!

I'm glad your happy...but a 1080i tube, from Sanyo no less, is not worth ANY amount of money anymore.  I suppose it is cooler than old SD, but I can't imagine by much...the 360 is a 720p native machine btw.
