What do you think I should go for?

Mass effect or The Witcher? Both are the same price unless I go for Witcher: Enchanced Edition which is full price.

Preferably I like turn based RPGs, but with nothing quite taking my fancy in that department at the moment I am deciding between these.

If you buy The Witcher you can get the Enhanced Edition content as free downloads wich helps to add to the value of the game. Both games are great but I'd have to give my vote to The Witcher for overall quality.

Witcher enhanced has a small book, that isn't available as a download so if you don't want the book do as thanatose said, get Witcher and download the patch and soundtrack and the other things that are available. Overall Witcher is better so get it first and next time when you have money to spare, get Mass Effect because it too is good :).

Buy The Witcher EE, you'll get a wagon of goodies - a lovely map, a novel, 2 music CD-s, a making-of DVD, a DVD with the bonus adventures, a strategy guide, all packaged in an awesome box. It's totally woth the full price.

Downloading this content sucks, IMO.

Seems Witcher is the flavour of choice.

I didn't know that the EE content was being patched to the original.

Makes me wonder why it warrants a full price re-release?

Probably for those without net conns or who are too lazy to patch?

Because it's worth it and the book (novel) is good. I would/will (since it's not available here yet) gladly pay the full price for the Enhanced Edition. :) Downloading the content isn't as satisfying as having the game, good, right out of the box and having all that extra content for a regular price, not like other special edition games.

Is the blatant sexism really as bad as the reviews say it is?

If so then it's definately a winner in my book.

true, I have also decided to buy witcher EE again.

s far as the original question is concerned, Witcher EE is a better choice
