want to buy a battlefield game but cant decide which one

Actually I would recommend BF2 over the others. I like the gameplay of BF2142 more, but BF2 has a bigger community, which I might add is still very active.

I would get BF2142. It's the most recent, has a big community, and is my favorite one by far because it has a much deeper inventory/unlock system, titan mode, slightly better graphics, etc.

There's still 1000-2000 players online all the time. Unfortunately most of the mods, which make BF1942 my favourite multiplayer shooter of all time, are dead.

Buy Battlefield 2.There is also a Comlete Edition whitch has all expansion packs.Highly recommended!;)

Ah see that's what I thought! But you know I'll be honest, I have never played any of the BF1942 mods :oops:

BF2's maps are much more varied and original, 2142's maps are basically mud with the same concrete buildings over and over again.

I recommend 2142 most of all. All of them are still alive to a degree. Even BFV still has a few hundred people on most of the time, I think.

Wow... You've missed a lot.

Either BF2 or 2142, and I can't recommend one over the other. I played BF2 for a while, then I got 2142 and have been playing that a lot too... I think it really depends which style you're more into, a slightly futuristic setting or modern day. Both are excellent games and provide a similar style of play, so you need to decide for yourself which setting you think you will like more. I would lean towards BF2, personally.

Titan mode is pretty awesome, though.. unfortunately BF2 has nothing like that.

Also they're both buggy pieces of software, but out of the two I find that 2142 is worse... crashes more often.

Battlefield 2 seems the most the most intresting but i heard online is deadshonosuke08
