Hi i suddenly got the munchies to play some FPS, i have bin thinking of getting either Battlefield or Call of Duty but i havent playd any FPS game since Battlefield 2142 (accept for Crysis and Left 4 Dead).

I really liked the idea in Battlefield 2142 that you had your own charakter and you culd buy permanentuppgrades to your charakter, i allso loved the idea that it took place in the near future.

So does any of the new Call of Duty games or any of the new Battlefield games share that same idea that you have a charakter that you can uppgrade and it takes place in the present or near future? It wuld allso be nice if the game had manny online players since thats what im aiming for after i get the game...

I have played both and I have to say that Battlefield 2 is better, because the maps are bigger, you can fly helicopters, drive tanks and other vehicles, and it takes a lot longer to get to higher rank then COD4. There is still a lot of people playing Battlefield 2 online.

If you're gonna play on PC, BF2142 is the newest... Anyway, get Cod4.

There should be a Battlefield 2 pack that has all of the expansions amalgamated with the original Battlefield 2. Nevertheless, I recommend Call of Duty 4, literally a marvelous experience online, with great customization in weaponry loadouts packaged with absolute mayhem firefights/grenades/bullets ripping through walls/helicopters/jets ect. all synced into fantastic maps, it's just marvelous.
