I have been running at 5 fps in Northrend for far too long, when it dropped to 3 today, I decided enough is enough, I'm getting a new video card. I'm currently running an NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE. Any suggestions?

do you know what 5fps is, if you did run that then you would have stopped long ago. Do you have AGP or PCI-E, since your intergrated adapter is ancient. And your budget please

5 FPS? You can't be serious, that literally looks like a slide show. ANY GPU is an improvement over what you have. I'm assuming you want a budget card with low power requirments. ATI Radeon 4670 seems like your best bet, it'll handle WoW with ease (assuming you have a capable CPU).

Is that a joke? Counter-Strike is a game where a high framerate is really needed, I don't see how you could "play" it at 3FPS.

Wow, that'd be insane.

If anything, if you're just using PCI slots (32-bit) or AGP 4/8x, try a Geforce 6200, should be cheap enough for any budget. It's plenty enough for WoW.

PCI version:

GeForce 6200 PCI

AGP version:

Geforce 6200 AGP

Obviously it's up to you. If you have PCI-Express slots, even better! Most if not all PCI-Express cards should run WoW just fine and smooth.

A flip book is equivilent to 15-20fps depending on your flipping speed. And you do not play at 3-7fps. period.

this topic just shows me how big of a game WOW is when people are willing to play it at 5fps. Honestly, go out and buy the cheapest dedicated graphic card and i'm almost certain it can run WOW good enough. (my x600 on my laptop can even run the thing smoothly and i'm pretty sure ati doesn't even sell it anymore)

im at a loss for words. Are ppl that crazy about WOW that they just play it on any old outdated rig and not realize they can get 100% fps increase by spending as little as 30 bucks? I should try it on my old 486DX 66mhz thats used as a surfing rig in my garage. Maybe id get 1fps in wow

Literally just about any dedicated graphics card made in the last 4 years will run WoW just fine. Get anything, as long as it is compatible with your board. It won't really matter. Anything will blow away the 6150, which is terrible.
