Ok, here's the thing, just imagine Blizzard would make Warcraft in the future, far future (similar to Warhammer 40k), how would the units looks, which races would be there and so on. For course there is no way that this will ever happen (due to Starcraft) and certanly not under this name, but let's prank a little :D

The market for the year 40,000 is already saturated, there's no money to be made there by Activision Blizzard. ;)

It would be starcraft?

given starcraft was initially meant to be a 40k based game - you can see the similarities between the zerg and tyrannids and terran marines and space marines.

Eh Starcraft and Warcraft initially started out as ripoffs of WH and 40k, there was even a law suit I believe... or came close to one at least.

And at any rate no I would not like to see this happen, if anything the 40k RTS games need to get bigger and more epic something that I don't think Blizzard could pull off. Also dirt farming isn't really something that belongs in a 40k game.

I know Relic has the Warhammer 40k licence but hopefully another dev can get a hold of the Epic 40k licence.
