WarCraft IV or WoW 2

LOL who wants another WoW, they already have 2 expansions. Its long overdue we get another warcraft :D

WARCRAFT 4 FTW!!!

In terms of fun, I enjoyed WoW more then WCIII, though their both awesome games. I cant see how there could be a WC4 seeing as their killing all of the protagonists off, though there only needs to be a few, so they could create a whole new story. They could say that there was peace after the allied factions freed Azeroth from (Insert random raid boss here), but peace never lasts, or some fantasy mumbo jumbo like that.

Anyway, I'd rather see WC4 come before WoW2, so there was fresh content, though I would look forward to WoW2 more. Saying that, I doubt they'll use the Warcraft world for their next MMO, though im not to keen on a World of Starcraft, & I think Diablo should stay as it is.

If blizzard sticks to its original plan of releasing four expansion packs for WoW, we still have 2 more after Wrath of the Lich King.

So clearly, we don't need a second WoW.

It has to be Warcraft 4. They need to re-establish new lore and enemies and then base WoW2 on that new lore.Raxzor

They will not do WoW2. If they do another PC MMO, it will be something that compliments WoW. It will not be a game that rivals and competes with WoW. Think about it. It makes absolutely no sense to build an MMO that replaces their existing one, which is extremely profitable. What they would end up doing is just making players migrate from one to the other, and their playerbase will essentially be the same (and growing at the same rate).

What they need to do is build an MMO which their existing players will also want to play, and which will bring in new players. A World of StarCraft would do just that - it would be a huge change of pace for WoW players, meaning they might be inclined to play both games (and they could offer a dual subscribership discount) and they would bring in StarCraft and general science fiction fans.

While SOE did the EQ/EQ2 model, EverQues was pretty damn old by then and its population was beginning to fall. WoW's population is still steadily rising.

Their next MMO Will likely be World of Blizzard...

Characters will play as Warcraft Characters, Fight mostly Starcraft Mobs and have Starcraft Quests, The main bosses will be diablo, and the rest will just be a mix of mobs and other thigns from the rest...

From those two i think that they should downgrade WoW, and open up some Wow Classic Servers, The game was best Pre-BC, PvP Ranks, Naxx, 40 man raids, Having epics ment being Epic.

They are already working on a new "top secret" MMO, which is speculated to be the "new IP" Blizzard has mentioned. That said, I think I couldn't really care less about another Warcraft game at this point.

It is worth noting that they only say it's a MMO and they do not specifiy MMORPG.

Yeah, an RTS without an expansion is like a [censored because I'll probably get banned like everyone else]. They will do an expansion almost for 100% sure. Even crappy RTS games like Empire at War, Universe at War and any other games Petroglyph make get expansions.

Blizzard stated that if they WERE to do WC4, they would continue as if WoW hadn't happened. Ie, all the main characters still alive.

Yeah so its going to be a long time either way..the Devs have also talked about how much more difficult it was to make starcraft 2 than a whole new IP so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a new IP rts after they're done with starcraft 2

The project was confirmed by Rob Pardo at WWI but whether its original no one knows

Of they make warCraft 4 (what I hope) than it will probably be something like Diablo III, co-op play nad not a MMORTS. You will be able to play single player campaing with a friend

I like Blizzard's MMO, but I hate paying 70 KM (about 30 $) every month.
