So this video is blocked in your country by: Who crytek? Also, you cant judge the entire game from a freaking promotional video. This aint even actual gameplay, its scripted to look good. Judging by the fact they go for free korean online fps, it might as well be like all the rest and be filled with premium items that unbalance gameplay.[QUOTE="millerlight89"]Copyrights for my country.[QUOTE="dakan45"]Blocked? lol good one.
Warface looks good.
I know right. I mean wtf. My head just blew up.I know right. I mean wtf. My head just blew up.millerlight89
My exact reacion when you said "Imo what cod should have been" when cod has unbalanced items and you say that it should be like an online fps that has premium unbalanced items. Its like saying "cod is unbalaced, but this one is even more because you can pay for awesome items and pwn everyone right from the begining"
I was shocked  The logic of your argument that this is how cod should have been does not even make sense.
Just another Cod copy. :/Jor297I HATE comments like this. Let me guess, Forza is a copy of gran turismo, and braid is a copy of super mario. Ugh.

Well yeah, i mean from what i saw it looks like an objective game with much more teamwork and team spawning from helicopters and not randomly in the map. Just because its in modern times does not means it copies.......wait,actually its not modern, its in the future ;)
Looks cooler than the Crysis 2 multiplayer, but I'm biased due I think that the C2 mp is a COD copy & paste and imo BF and not COD is the way to go.
The graphics of the landscape looks a bit bland when they look from the helicopter to the sand huts, but then in the close quartet combat sequences the degree of detail of the buildings is impressive.
The Jackhammer shotguns looks nice, the pump action shotgun a bit weild -I liked more the one in Crysis-, but the assault rifles, lmg and scopes are highly detailed and the lightning and animations looks well. I would expect environment destruction, at least to certain degree.
Still, I like more to pay for a full game than a free one with per pay customization, but IF the game is relesed outside South Korea I'll give it a chance.

this one works
Not gonna lie, it looks incredibly similar to Call of Duty, but I'm not calling it a rip off or anything, so don't get your panties in a bunch.
Depends how you see it. Many people did not play crysis mp because the big maps with vehicles weakend the nanosuit capabilities. But now with the small maps, players will be able to use those abilities more often.Looks cooler than the Crysis 2 multiplayer, but I'm biased due I think that the C2 mp is a COD copy & paste and imo BF and not COD is the way to go.Ondoval

But now they missed the objective based mode, as Power Struggle, also missed the vehicles, and the nanosuit modes are basically gone: now you can equip up to 20 "nanosuit perks" which came in 3 degrees of power each one. You can't strafe jumping now, and speed mode faded.
Looks pretty cool, and the price it right. :P
ROFL at the Desert Eagle with RDS. That just looks ridiculous.

I didnt know, there wont be any objective and vehicles maps at all. But seriously, no nanosuit modes? So you dont switch at all? You just install upgrades in the suit that are always on?[QUOTE="Ondoval"][QUOTE="dakan45"] Depends how you see it. Those nanosuit modules are just perk like features.
Are you sure Crytek isnt just publishing it ? Another Asian studio was mentioned in the title credits.bonafidetkA Korean branch of Crytek It looks cool though for a free game. I hope it has LAN so that it can be played at cafes with no problems.

You play in their servers and as you play you get points and level up. Then you unlock weapons and items that are more powerfull than the previous and you rent them for a couple of days using gamepoints you earned while playing. Also there are premium items which you rent with real money and are far overpowered from the game ones.
You know it's the Cryengine because people fly around when they die.GeneralShowzerI loled. Anyway i have to say that i immediately felt like its the cryengine by the way the bullets impact to the enemy's body (eg when they use the shotgun in this video) and other similarity in its mechanics. Eg: when they are getting out from the chopper you hear a "ough" that sounds like Nomad just took got hit.

This is the same difference as Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Shangai. They are not made up of the same people... And I am guessing that you do understand this already, but I still wanted to make it clear for everyone else (especially the OP).
It did look pretty similar to current games, but actual objectives looks nice. Plus looking down the sights look prettier than Call of Duty. Still there wasn't a bunch to really see in the video besides it is probably one of the best visually looking F2P games.
EDIT: Apparantly it is also going to run off of CryEngine 3
oo cool other cod...
standing by 3 people shooting...
running through buildings with shooty
100 points pop up every kill
red dot on every gun
ya...

Yeah, I don't known what I'm talking about. In fact my lack of clue about the topic is so big that i wrote a 24 page preview about Crysis 2 in this forums few weeks ago:
http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=27448152&tag=topics%3Btitle
So, now that my degree of knowledge about the game is exposed, let me explain a couple of things about the Crysis 2 muliplayer:
-Will not support any kind of drivable vehicle.
-Speed mode is gone.
-Armor and Strength modes are now fused in one: Power Mode, which is the default mode.
-There's only one alternative mode to Power Mode. Tactic Mode, which provides stealth and open the door to thermal vision.
-There's not a circular HUD exposing the suit modes or the customizable weapons, due it will only be 2 suit modes and weapons will not be customizable on fly.
-There will be 60 nanosuit enhancements, fragmented in 20 "perks" with 3 degrees of power each one. These suit attachments will not work as the Crysis 1 nanosuit, due you need to attach the "perk" before playing (as in MW/BLOPS) and you will not be able to change the attachments during real time gameplay. Some of those perks include things as faster reload, proximity sensors, etc.
-Maps will be much smaller than in Crysis 1; Power Struggle mode will not be in the game.
So, basically Crysis 2 mp has nothing in common with Crysis 1 mp. On fly customizations are gone, half of the powers are gone, strafe jumping is gone, large maps & vehicles are gone, prone is gone and the new powers works as COD perks and not as a abilities that you can change during the gameplay.
Yeah I've got to say if it didn't say "Warface" at the top you could easily mistake that for COD/Bad Company etc. Its that good ol' desert setting again. Still a terrible title too. Warface. Did I already make the joke about the executives ordering chinese food instead of thinking of a good title? Yes? :(
Hey someone left a comment on that video! Lets go over by the window and see what it says!
It looks pretty cool, but I bet you'll have to pay for weapons or faster leveling or something like that. I doubt the game will be completely free to play.

You know, the more I hear about this game, the less I want to play it. It doesn't bother me though; I got Rage and Duke Nukem Forever to look forward to. But who knows, it might be good.

Looks good. It seems the thing is running pretty smoothly but we can't tell what kind of hardware that footage was recorded on. Anyways it looks pretty fun, but I sure do hope they make the blood splatters look better in the actual game.
