What is the real difference between Dawn of War II Retribution: The Last Standalone and Warhammer Dawn of War II Retribution? They are both on steam and i went to buy the Standalone version of the game because it was cheaper and stuff, but then it gave me a free upgrade to Warhammer Dawn of War II. I read somewhere that the standalone is a section of the Warhammer, so is that why they are connected in a sense? Thanks for any answers.

The Last Stand doesn't include the campaign or competitive multiplayer, it only includes the Last Stand game-mode.

thanks, and i am also wondering while steam is having this sale, if it is worth going to get the other dawn of wars, like the original 2nd, and chaos rising.

Also, if anyone else can confirm the free upgrade from standalone to warhammer 40k, that would be nice. Because i am wondering if the upgrade is only through christmas or something because it would seem kinda stupid for someone to buy a 5 dollar piece of a game and then get that upgraded for free to the 15 dollar version. seems like steam wouldnt let people do that. not that im complaining, but im just wondering if the upgrade is real or permanent or whatever.

May as well get the entire DoWII collection. They're fantastic.
