Warhammer: Dawn of War 2

So.... I've put a ton of time into this game. It's very addictive in single player once you start leveling up your forces, and they start having a bunch of abilities

What's funny? I started trying to get all the optinal missions done, specifically ones with a certain number of days left... but it was nuts... I would beat 3, and another 3 would appear. Maybe its because I didn't do them early on? I dunno... but what I DO know is......... I end up finding out, those missions don't matter, and that I had only one mission left... but had just spent like 15 hours playing random defend/attack missions.

Is there any reason to do these? even after beating the game? Possible to remove all infestation? Any special endings?

I think it's to get new gear and level up mainly. If you can play after beating the game I'd guess that it extends the game instead of just ending and not being able to continue. Relic had plans to extend the current game in expansions so your characters transfer over. It was all hopes and speculations however.

As far as I know, you can't continue the campaign when you're done with the last mission. You have to restart, which is retarded since the last mission gives the player quite a bit of wargear.

Once you finish the last mission it makes 2 save games.

1) Saved after final battle and you can watch the ending again

2) Just prior to last mission so you can go back and try to get more wargear.

I was also disappointed that I didn't ever get to use the war gear I acquired in the last mission, Still I had a blast with the single player campaign.
