Warhammer Online... Not too sure on this one...

Is it just me or does this game looks Poor? i mean... guildwars looks better from what ive seen. The Facial hair looks like Furr and totaly out of place. Plus the Weird Armor and Odd looking Dwarfs.

I cant personaly see this getting past Warhammer Fans and maybe the odd MMO Fan.

Id rather stick to my WoW.

I thought this game sounded cool until i saw the gameplay videos the combat looks very medicore

I agree completely though ... Warhammer isnt looking that good, very outdated infact, I dont care if its from the makers of DAoC.

I sent an email to info@eamythic for basic info. I told them if they couldn't provide info, to just let me know. It didn't bother me until I remember a time when EA customer support left me hanging over a week just to tell me I couldn't play the game they licensed me to play, unless I bought another copy of the game to get the CD. It was ridiculous, they don't even replace broken CDs if you break them, they force you to buy another copy. I have ever since spited that day, and I've read other people that had similar problems.

Dark Age of Camelot + Warhammer = very possibly awesome.

I don't care how it looks, the developers have proven history and the setting is one of the best possible for an MMO.

This is an obvious fact. I hope EA/Mythic have realised that.

Problems from an MMO perspective: its been done before too many time, WoW already uses a similar story (butchered from the original Warhammer concept) but they have over 10 million subscribers easily willing to trash WAR when it is released.

Problems from a Warhammer perspective: EA/Mythic has gone against the lore (for example, adding Male sorcerors) and core gameplay mechanics of WH (adding keeps, etc) to make it "appeal more to a wider audience" and it is less likely to attract the original WH fans for those reasons.

It is starting to look like Dark Age of Warhammer if you catch my drift.

Yes, unfortunately that is ALL I hear about this game...how good the PvP is going to be. I dont hear much else about its raid content or PvE gameplay.

Dont get me wrong, I am sure it will be a quality game. Its just I dont like to PvP with my MMOs so I am curious why this game would appeal to me?

Also, any idea why it got delayed? I am curious about that as well.

LoL...I am in the same boat as you. I am not even looking foward to this game at all, though I do know about it, heard some beta impressions, and understand there is a big appeal to this game.

I am more a PvE guy myself...

Regarding the delay, from a few testers that i have spoken with (this is just what they told me) it sounded like there was some quality/rebalance issues.

Ahhh sounds like MMO developers might have learned their lesson...make sure the game is playable upon release so you dont scare the on-the-fence people away.

I'm pretty sure that WoWhammer is gonna blow. There was allot of Hype on it a few months ago and then nothing. Now they have pushed it back to the fourth quarter. I'm sure that delighted the preorder fans. I have a feeling that Age of Conan is going to be the MMORPG game of the year though. everything about it looks hot Hot HOT!Cledwyn

I'm not trying to start anything, but While Warhammer may of had the table-top story ... Warcraft was the best of the video games.

Watch Warhammer videos again, the gameplay, the movement, the UI , the text/fonts are all spitting images of WoW's ... hell even teh same colour for the text.

I agree with the guy youve quoted, Age of Conan could be awesome if they fix the poot connecting combat animations...

But otherwise, yet another year will be dominated by Wrath of the Lich King, not that I'm complaining, Undead was my favourite race in Warcraft III, it will be awesome fighting in northrend, and Arthas/Ner'zhul.
