I was considering buying warhammer online, cause I havent played an mmo in forever, and i really don't want to go back to WoW. Are there fairly good populations on the servers where I won't have to worry about not finding a guild or things like that? Is it slowly crashing and burning like some MMO's? (Tabula Rasa) Or do you think that this one wlll definitly be here for a while? Also can someone suggest a good US server thats fairly populated? Should I do it now or should i wait a while still?

This one will be here for awhile, it's doing quite well. I played it for a month or so, a very good game, much better than WoW. I only stopped because I have so many other games to be playing right now. I want to prioritize them. If you're an MMO nut, I would reccomend it.

I'm playing it and here's ten reasons you should...

1. PvP is outstanding. 3 Scenarios per zone pairing then jumps to about 5-6 additional scenarios from the 3rd and 4th one. Your looking at about 20-30 Scenarios total in this game. (Battlegrounds)

2. Launch is exceptional, few bugs, just alot of minor quirks, and it will be fixed because they have already jumped on to many bugs already and are very concerned with the players feedback, awesome GM's.

3. Runs on many machines, many players.

4. TONS of different classes to pick.

5. Each time you advance through the Tiers (Zone pairings) you start to notice the game come alive even more, and once you are in tier 4 and are playing as a rank 40 character you will be blown away.

6. Game never gets old, ever.

7. Even has better PvE than WoW imo, has more immersive dungeons (instances) better rewards (item sets and influence rewards just for killing things in the dungeon), Public Quests are the coolest things ever thought of for PvE.

8. Class balance is awesome at such an early stage and continues to improve.

9. No "overpowered" classes, something always offsets them.

10. It isn't a game like WoW where they sit there and make mindless features because they have no competition. Mythic cares about the game and its player base and expect to have a great game served to you every month you pay for it. Constant updates and hotfixes show the care Mythic has for the game and how much they want it to surpass its expectations.

I played it since launch day, it's a great game and enough people are level 40 (max level) now that the endgame PvP is progressing really well. If you like a PvP heavy MMO this IS the one for you, there's plenty of quests and PvE to get you to 40 but the main focus is PvP (80 PvP ranks total) At the very least it's worth trying for a month to see if you enjoy it.
