I was interested in getting it

The combat was great fun, cutting limbs off, throwing people into traps and chucking them over ledges. It's a linear experience tho, it has RPG elements, you can become a warrior, rogue or mage by selecting various abilities. It's really cheap now as well, should last a weekend.JTWibble
hm, i see. I heard its built on the source engine, how are the physics???
I thought it was terrible. The combat was decent in the game, but everything else was just terrible.
I enjoyed the first few levels, after that it became a chore. It kind of lost its best attributes the further you progress. Less traps, more monsters. Turned into a hack&slash for warriors.
It's a very good game besides some bugs and you know, not so good graphics. If Oblivion had it's combat system and not that boring mess, it would be WIN.rmfd341Not really, Dark Messiah was more of a hero action game than rpg, kicks, slow mo finishing moves, throwing items and braking the enviroment, not much rpg, more like an hl2 that you hit stuff and make them fall on your enemies. The more i fight in that game, the more i realize that its not slash and block like oblivion.
I liked the game. It came with my video card back when it came out. I couldn't play it due to bugs, but about a month ago, I re-downloaded it from Steam and played it. It was a really great game. The graphics hold up pretty well, and the physics are still great. The combat is just so satisfying. I really have fallen in love with the combat system, well, for the swords at leadt. Bow and arrow stuff was mostly standard. The Magic system was fun too. If I were you, I would try out the demo for sure (if it's still available).
The only thing it have in commong with Might and magic is the name. The story feel like it have been writen by a 5 year old. There are like 1000's of bugs that make the game unplayable (and they don't have any kind of support). The ending movie was made by the devs child in around 5min.
It was a fairly fun on the rails shooter (without the guns) that has no replay value. Sure there are three character classes to play as, but the gameplay is still the same.
Nobody played focusing on class, everybody did a character which could do any kinda thing. It was a fairly fun on the rails shooter (without the guns) that has no replay value. Sure there are three character classes to play as, but the gameplay is still the same.

Strange then how I've replayed the game three times. That's more than what I can say about any other shooter. It was a fairly fun on the rails shooter (without the guns) that has no replay value. Sure there are three character classes to play as, but the gameplay is still the same.
