I don't understand why such a great game concept and success they had with Duke Nukem could not be made into a game. WTH happened?Cracker__Jack
I'm not allowed to talk about it in detail, but Duke Nukem Forever is very alive and kicking. I know this for a fact.
It's still not done and I'm not going to pretend to know when it will be released, but it won't be very long. Don't forget that the developer wanted to really make a worthy succesor to Duke Nukem 3D and amongst switching engines a few times they simply weren't pleased about the results.
Although the dev team denies it had any influence on the development of Duke Nukem Forever, Prey more or less came in between too. Well, we all know how well that game did and how great it looks, so I wouldn't worry too much about DNF.
It's just too bad we have to wait this long, but I guess the mere fact that we are talking about it still says enough about how the original Duke Nukem 3D really needs a worthy succesor and not some rip-off.

No, Prey was terrible. Another corridor, run and gun shooter built on the Doom 3 engine.
I wish 3D Realms would just drop dead. The same goes for DNF.
