I just order this set up for gaming? What do you guys think? You would probably know more than i do when it comes to PC gaming as i am used to consoles!

I know, maybe next time i have a bit fo extra cash i will take on a project and build one. But at the moment , im just happy to have someone build it for me!

Well the video card is a bit out dated, should have gone with a 250 GTS or something. Also let me build it for you next time cause I am the master at building a balanced computer system!

It's ok but the video card will hold you back a bit because the HD 4850 out performs the 9800 GT.

Ok , i would have got the 4850 but it just went over my budget. I might upgrade in a couple of months when i have bit of cash again.....

Upgrade to at least the 4870 as the 4800 series should come down in price once the new cards are released

next time don't get into pre-build :-/ and make ur own piece by piece.. you could ad Q9550 and P45's and 4890 1GB for the money or at last 260 GTX 216 core / 4870 1GB if by any chance ship / tax get too high

But anyway ur rig is average power beside for gpu so it should play smooth at 1680x1050 if you get new gpu and soon they releasing HD5850-5870 rumour price 199-299$USD : 30-60% more power then 4870 1GB = stronger then 285GTX + First DX11 Compatible GPU for incoming DX11 Games

I got a quick question. The pc I am getting dosnt actually have windows 7 installed. It dosnt come with any os installed. I have windows 7 on dvd ready for install. But, i also have windows xp pro. Which os do you think would work best with games???

windows 7, but u can dual boot with the XP as well. i think its worth it
