If I have the file for a blu-ray movie on my computer, have the graphics card to run it, but don't have a blu-ray reader/burner, how do I watch the file? What would I use? (because I don't have the burner, I am going to have a friend make a digital copy of MY movies that I own)

So ur saying u have a Blu ray disk?

U need a blu ray reader, the laser compared to a dvd laser is much more advanced and sensitive so it can read the higher quality blu ray.

Are you saying your friend dumped the file of the entire Blu-Ray? If it's a dump of the entire Blu-Ray you may be able to mount it with a virtual drive system like Alcohol 120%, this will make your computer think you have a Blu-Ray drive installed and that it has the disc of the file you have in it. You're going to need a program that supports Blu-Ray playback like PowerDVD 8. What is the extension of the file you have? so that I can verify it's a disk image.
