Watch tv on my monitor?

I'm getting a 22inch monitor for my computer, but I only have a 20-inch tube tv for my cable tv. Is there any way i can watch cable on the monitor, and easily use it for my gateway as well when Im not watching tv? thanks

your best bet would be to get a tv tuner for your laptop/desktop
