I've never run water cooling before. It seems the default fan sizes on the cooler master HAF X case are a little odd compared to most fan sizes for water cooling setups. I know it's a noob question, but I think I've seen people running the H100i in this case on the show your rigs thread and to my knowledge, it doesn't list compatible fan sizes to the case. If it makes a difference, I'm running:

i7 4770k 3.5 GHz

ASUS Maximus Formula VI mobo

32 gb dominator ram

Corsair Ax1200i PSU

Sapphire Radeon HD 7990

OCZ Vertex 450 SSD

Seagate SV35 3TB HDD

What water cooling setup would be best?

What do you wish to cool by water?

If only the CPU then H100, which just needs two 120mm fan mounts nect to each other for mounting, or H80 for single 120mm fan mounting.

If you wish to cool that GPU then you need a custom build loop... Which of course can include your CPU as well, I would suggest no less than a 360mm radiator.

From quick searching your case... It looks like that one is really build for air cooling.

Well the HAF-X isn't the best case for custom loops, but I'm pretty sure the H100 fits at the top.

From doing a little research (quick google search), people have fit a 360 in the top of that case. A h100 will fit no problem at all.

Then you will need a custom loop. Which simply means you need to buy a pump, reservoir, radiator, blocks for CPU/GPU, tubing and fans. And possible a fan controller. Anyhow if you decide this, then it will cost you a lot more than just an AIO like H100 for your CPU.
