Hi , like some of u know , i just got my rig in december so im fairly new when it comes to components/hardware.

I've tried to do some research on my own on learning about water cooling ( google is our friend :P ) but it only helps up to one near point.

So for now , i was wondering of you knew a specific web page that explains water cooling extensively .

Also , for a complete water cooling rig , how much does that generaly cost ? ( with average components )

Well, you could just try the corsair H50, it is a hydro cpu cooler that goes for ~$75. I'm not 100% sure, but I've heard the number $400 thrown around as a general rule for a full system rig.

These are some I used:

Custom water cooling gets expensive very quickly. I would say a good cpu only loop would cost between $200 and $300 depending on what brands and if you use a res or not. A system with full coverage blocks for gfx card, cpu and motherboard will break $500+ with ease, mainly because the waterblocks are very pricey. Some people go all out with wc their ram and power supplies etc. but that is more for the extreme.

Right now I'm about to put together a 2nd loop so my cpu and gfx card are separate. Looking at about $400 for the cpu loop but using quality parts. Keeping the gpu loop as is. My total setup would probably cost around $800 and you can add another $150 if I decide to get the motherboard block.

If you do it cheap it won't be any better than air cooling, if not worse.

The Corsair H50 as mentioned is a good alternative. Going to get one for my old pc. Competes with the best air coolers and it leaves a lot of room in a smaller case compared to the monstrous heatsinks these days.

I built my CPU only loop for about $120 ($50 for GTZ, $20 for used Laing D5, $20 for '95 Buick heatercore, $30 for PVC radiator, fittings & tubing). If you're willing to spend the time to find good deals, I wouldn't be surprised if you could build a CPU-only loop for $100, possibly less if you're patient and lucky.
