ok, i know it's kinda stupid to post this here, but it's kinda urgent. well today someone added me as a friend on steam, named automated service protection bot or something like that, and the message says, 'unless i give or verify my account and password, i'll be on permanent ban list in 24 hours' i mean if it's real, it should've come in e mail or something, but i'm thinking it's someone playing a joke, but on other hand, if this is real, then i'm screwed, any ideas???
Ignore it, it's an account phrisher. If anything, email bomb the account with animal pr0n and submit the account's details to Valve (email address, account usernames, etc.).

I'm 100% sure that it is an account phrisher...Valve never ask for your details as they are encrypted somewhere in a database, and would have no use for it anyway. If it were even close to official...they would have at least tried to give a half-***ed attempt at an email to sway you a little bit.
