what a good OC'ing mobo to go?

topic i have a asrock "4coreDual-VSTA" and after some reasearch i could only push my e6300 to 2ghz what would be a good mobo to get 2.8ghz+ at a not so high price? Cheers all!

ps ram is 1gb corsair xms2-pc5400 675mhz " 4-4-4-12 " if that helps!

I have the 680i EVGA board, A1 revision. Great overclocker and much cheaper than the Asus Striker.

Would not consider any 680i board cheap. Your best bet is with the Asus P5N-E or the Gigabyte DS3. Both should be around $125 USD.

Get a Gigabyte DS3 or a MSI P6N if you want to use SLI.

what other desktop boards cost less than the 680i's, though? they're pretty much the most expensive home-use motherboards in the last decade.. hard to attach 'cheap' as an adjective to describe them when there's stuff performing similarly for literally half the price.
