If you have Steam, get Deus Ex for 10 bucks. You won't regret it.
Also, Baldur's Gate 2 is available on Amazon for 9 dollars. You should look into that.
What kind of PC games r u n 2? FPS? Arcade? Strategy? Xtraflo
Hm....I think I'm pretty open to all different kinds of games.
in no particualr order.
deus ex 1, baldurs gate 1 and 2 + expansions, KOTOR 1 and 2, neverwinter nights 1 and 2 and their expansions. diablo 2 (personally i wasnt a big fan of 1 for some reason.) + expansion, freespace 1 and 2, outcast, morrowind, arena (free on the elderscrolls website...very old game though), daggerfall (if u can find it and get it to work on Xp...expect a fight), starlancer, freelancer, sacrefice, warcraft 3, the longest journey, rome total war + expansion, medieval 2: total war +expansion, red alert, half life, age of empires, crimson skies, unreal tournament 2004.

dues ex is free on gametap....
half life
half life 2
warcraft 3
deus ex
the curse of monkey island series
diablo 2? (don't personally have it, but heard it was a great game)
unreal 2004
elder scrolls 3 morrowind (better than oblivion imo)
the longest journey (probably not the slightly snubbed dreamfall tho... if it wasn't snubbed then I say it but it was)
company of heroes and or dawn of war
and more, but that's what I'd probably go for, more into the FPS ones tho
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind + expansions (worth it even if you've played it on XBox, just for the mods)
- TES IV: Oblivion + Shivering Isles (see above)
- Monkey Island series (NOT including 4)
- Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
- Syberia series
- Age of Empires III
- Far Cry
Some of those aren't exactly from the 'old days', but they're all must-plays.Cherokee_Jack
4 on the monkey island series wasn't on pc
Eh, 10 bucks is more than deserved for Deus Ex. Plus, I don't have to watch the ads on Gametap.Noldorin2646
really? id rather get it free
I mean 30 sec adds aren't that bad.

I could only game in short sessions, so these ads got pretty annoying. In fact, it's one of the reasons why I haven't finished Psychonauts. (having Vampire the Masquerade and Fallout to finish contributed too, I'll have to admit)
Then there's various stuff like Disciples 2, Alpha Centauri, Divine Divinity, Freespace 2, Descent, Sacrifice, Citizen Kabuto, AvP 2, Jagged Alliance 2, Homeworld, Age of Empires 2, the Total Wars, along with newer (but still great) games like Mafia, Jedi Knight, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor AA, Galactic Civilizations, Dawn of War, Civ 4, The Witcher, Mask of the Betrayer, Sam and Max Season 1, Prince of Persia, KotOR, WarCraft 3, Bloodlines, Far Cry and so on.

I don't have a gametap account though, isn't it a monthly subcription in order for me to have access to the game?
Call of Duty 4 (previous ones if you want); the Halo games; Civilization 3 complete/Civilization 4 complete; Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth Anthology (contains BME I, BME II, and Rise of the Witch King for only $20); Age of Empires 3; Age of Mythology; Warcraft 3; and Red Alert.
Also, do you have Counter Strike: Source, or just 1.6? If you don't have Source, get it.
Never had your own computer before? Welcome to our world!! Everyone in my house has always had their own computer and theirs are usually better and faster than mine so everyone stays away from mine!!
If you have Steam with Orange Box and Counterstrike, you've got some good gaming going on there. I'm still playing the Original Halo for PC (I just can't let it go). If you want to go further back, there is Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 2004. Jedi Knight/Jedi Academy were good. Blood 2 was one of my favorites. It all depends on what you want and what you like.
