Well, there are different ways of looking at this.
There are the Console games that could work well on PC that aren't on PC...Yet. But will most likely come to PC given the developer's history in the past, in some cases with with enhancements and even exclusive content in the PC version (ala Gears of War).
Then there are the Console games that could work on PC that probably have a slim chance of going to PC as it stands.
Then of course there are the Console games that I definitely want to play, but can't see myself playing them on anything other then a consoles....games like Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Etc.....which I'm not gonna bother making a list for.
Anyway...
Console Games I'm Interested in That Could Work on PC That Will Most Likely Come To PC:
Mass Effect (Every BioWare game has been on PC, either as a PC exclusive, or later ported to PC with new content)
GTA IV (Expect it to arrive on PC 6 months after the console versions, just like all the other GTA games since GTA III)
Brutal Legend (Given Shafer's PC background this will most likely come to PC, just like Psychonauts did)
Silent Hill 5 (Konami has brought every SH game since the second installment to PC)
Console Games I'm Interested in That Could Work on PC that I doubt will ever be on PC:
Dead Rising
....That's pretty much it.
You mean, console games I'd like to be ported to the PC to play, or console games I'd like to play on the consoles despite the fact that I'm a PC gamer?
If the former, none. Ports generally suck. It's like a rule or something, like movies made from games. Occasionally you'll get a few freak accidents like Mortal Kombat 1 that work out pretty well, but usually they're really bad.
If the latter... Well, it's sort of an illogical question. I'm a PC gamer and only a PC gamer because I'm just not into consoles. Granted, I probably would play consoles if I didn't have to pay for them or their games myself (my biggest reason for not playing them is that it means I'd have to spend money on them that I could be using for PC games and hardware upgrades). Still, I don't know enough about the games on the consoles to know which I'd want to play.
Mass Effect, GTAIV, Halo3 (why not?), Burnout Paradise, Lost Odyssey etc. Yeah some of those very well may come to PC eventually, but I'm picking up a 360 to play them as soon as I can. Never gonna give up my PC Gaming though
p.s. I'll second that Shadow of the Collusus is a bad ass game!

Actually, there's a rumour that Dead Rising could be coming out for the PC

Not sure how reliable this site is, but its something to keep an eye on.

Yay! Another reason for me to not buy a console that isn't the Wii.
Also, with all these games that have so much potential, but end up getting 'dumbed down' for console gamers (Oblivion and Bioshock.) that it's really hard to find any games that are multiplatformed that really shine nowadays, so I'm very unsure of what I want to see on the PC now.
Dead Rising is one of those 'half-assed' games too, but I just have so much fun killing those insane amounts of zombies!
Just wondering what you guys would sayAxel_rocks14
All the japanese RPGs (the only types of RPGs that are actually good).
None.
I'd say Mass Effect but I've got The Witcher. My friend has Mass Effect on 360, I'm not impressed aside from the dialogue options, but that's just writing. The Witcher is a far better game IMO.
I would say Final Fantasy 13, but it's not out yet. Plus I don't like the games Square has been putting out since the merger with Enix. They've suffered a serious drop in quality, and are more kiddy/stupid now.
I Agree with you There are a few games I think would be better if they developed it for pc then tried to port it to console.Rather than the other way round .
The games I would like to see on PC is Heavenly Sword & Assasins Creed .Assasins is only coming in March 08 to pc I read somewhere they have a Pc gaming development team working on getting the game perfect for pc so it does not have the usual problems you experirance with ports. Can't wait

I agree, there are too many games that just get a straight port. I am pleased that Ubisoft are going to modify their Assassins Creed game for PC, rather than just slapping out any old port. Although I am not a fan of GoW, I think it is great Epic took the time to do a good job of the PC version. Lost Planet on PC was imo crap, just a straight port, shows how it shouldn't be done. Some ports do work tho, GTA series worked very well on the PC.
As for ports going to console, look at FEAR, a great game on PC, but the port to console was a complete mess. Some developers cannot be criticised for poor ports, as sometimes the game publisher hires another company to port the game over. Kudos though to the developers who take the time to do a proper job of modifying a game for either console or PC.
