What are some good games that don't need a great pc to run?

My PC:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.80 GHz

Ram - 2942 mb

Running Vista 32

My computer has got less than half that :) and it just runs counter-strike, maybe try that. Otherwise Deus Ex is great, also all of the Warcrafts, Red Alert 1 and 2, Fallout 2, Icewind Dale, NeverWinter Nights 1 and 2, Sid Meier's Pirates, the Dooms, Unreal Tournaments. Half Life though a bit outdated graphics wise is still brillant. TF2 might run. Hope I've helpedJ_Phett

RPG, FPS, TPS, STRATEGY etc.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3, timeless.

Max Payne 1 & 2, excellent games.

Half Life 2, can't rate this game high enough it needs to be played to be believed.

Sims 2, addictive and fun.

Doom 3.
