All super cheap. Hope that helps.
first off, ur gonna hate oblivion because it is the definition of open ended, i dont think there is a way to do all of the quests in that game, there is just no end, even after 100+ hours of gameplay. bioshock is a fps, so thats out of the question. good story, the original kotor. the witcher is good if you like really long and slow rpgs. armed and dangerous (i think thats what its called) from lucasasrts was hilarious. hawx? rpgs seem to be the best choice, cept there arnt that many good ones right now. neverwinter nights 2, but it kinda gets slow on you.
command & conquer 3: tiberium wars
dawn fo war 2
Company of Heroes
a reckless disregard for gravity (open alpha)
just cause
guild wars
mercenaries 2: world in flames
Tired of open ended games?
So, you'd rather play static, small trial and error maps in opposed to dynamic mission
Let me guess you prefer 2D games too
Kaelken
Absolutely nothing wrong with linearity or 2D.
Some great RTS games are Company of Heroes or Dawn of War Platinum.
The Witchers' good too, but its open-ended.
The Witchers' good too, but its open-ended.The Witcher isn't open-ended, the game ends together with the end of the main storyline.ratchet_ruler88
Baldur's Gate 2 (oldie but a goodie)
Mass Effect
Dawn of War 2
Vampire TM: Bloodlines
The Witcher (I didn't like it my first time through, but i'm giving it a second go.)
Dead Space
Wolverine Orgins (it's good mindless fun. As for the story, hey it's better than the movie.)
Mirror's Edge (which you can pick up for $5 atm at gogamer.com only for the next 15 hours though)
Cryostasis (it's first person though, first person survival horror)
It's been awhile since i've been wowed by a game's story tbh.
a reckless disregard for gravity no character developement just a wild rush and a dramatic fall in style. think of it as playing those dreadful skateboarding videogames only now you have no terrain to deal with
