What are some good older PC games?

I have a Sony Vaio (NR310E)

It has a dual core processor 1.73ghz

2 gigs of ram and onboard intel 356mb video card.

It can play San Andreas as 1156x768 or whatever weird resolution that it has, draw distance cranked at medium & medium graphics detail. But this is after that recent update intel sent out.

I'm not looking to play Crysis or anything, just something to do when I'm on the road. In the 2003 and below range.

If you want a taste of what the good ole days were like, I suggest trying Daggerfall. The expansiveness of the game makes up for the early 90's graphics.
