What are some good PC only games?

I think there might be some posts out there like this but i was wondering what are some games exclusicve to the PC. I have a good graphics card but i dont really want any games i could play on the xbox 360 or ps3. Currently im okaying age of mythology and i think im getting starcraft and warcraft.

Those are three great games :), though none of them particularly high end graphically. Crysis and Stalker (the whole series) immediately come to mind as excellent exclusive.

If you're into RTS's though as it seems you are, check out Stronghold Crusader, and Forged Alliance. Both are PC exclusive, and great games. Crusader is very old, but like Warcraft/Starcraft, timeless. Forged Alliance will use your graphics card a lot more, and is an all around great experience. Good luck!

Civilization series, heroes of might and magic series, diablo 2, x-com (first 2), soccer/sports managers, simcity series, elderscrolls series.

If i where you i would pick between starcraft and warcraft 3. It's much more fun to just get good at one game then being average at both. Starcraft is a more macro management game thats really fast. Warcraft 3 is a bit slower (but still pretty fast) but involves a lot more micro management.

Difference between micro and macro management:

Micro management is handling your units very effectivly, using there abilities at the right time and pulling them back when damaged. This way you can defeat your enemy with less units then him.

Macro management is building up and expanding your base, unit count and resources trying to be one step ahead of your opponent.

good PC exlclusives? hmm, let me see...

Max Payne 2 - dunno if it went out for the PS2 or something but it's god damn classic TPS

Mafia - can't get that on consoles can you? :D can't wait for Mafia 2

Guild Wars - if you're willing to play co-op online RPG (WoW fans it's time to troll! :lol:)

Metro 2033 - the new horror sruvival FPS - dunno if it's out for consoles but it sure won't have crappy graphics as consoles have

Medieval 2 Total War - awesome RTS, basically you can name any RTS it won't be on consoles such as Rise of Nations, Warcraft 3, Starcraft etc. (except for Halo Wars)

Torchlight? Diablo 2? Red Faction 3? World in Conflict? Company of Heroes? NFS Shift on max graphics? Just Cause 2?

anyway you can search for PC exclusive games on google or something don't make me use the site "let me google that for you" :)

The main reason I'm still on the PC are flight/combat sims. The other genres are mostly gravy or frosting on the cake depending on how you look at it.
