besides the new mgs thing, thats pretty much all i'd want out of e3. anyone think it'll happen?

They did it with warhead in last years E3 but then again warhead is just an expansion so probably they wont show crysis 2 in this year E3 ( if i have to bet they will most likely show it at next years E3 and will be among the first titles to take advantage of the new GPCPU from both ati and nvidia)
medium-high chances since AVP is using Crytek's Cry Engine 3 for AVP which is awsome and shows that the engine is complete they just need to get the game ready for E3.Hekynnis it really? i had no clue what engie avp3 was using
What ever happened to Alan WAke?RedxSniper
LOL!
I love it whenever I see this question being asked - THIS question pops up in SO many threads. It's starting to get comical.

Looks like the crysis haters are out in full force as well
I don't hate Crysis. I just think that it's the single most over-rated game... well, of all time, actually. What ever happened to Alan WAke?RedxSniperThe Wake is a lie! Seriously, it was what sold a lot of people on DX10, and hence on Vista. I don't believe the game's ever going to be completed since it's been in production forever.
Sadly, I don't think much about the PC is gonna show up at E3, besides PC multiplats of course. I think Games Convention(old Leipzig) in Europe later this Summer should have a ton more PC centric stuff. I wouldn't be surprised to see Cryengine 3 for Consoles this E3, and Crysis 2 PC at GC.mismajor99The Fall lineup in general is actually looking kind of thin. I mean, honestly, I'm still wading through last year's titles. I haven't even gotten around to Dead Space yet. But what have we got coming in the Fall? There's Bioshock 2 and Dragon Age, of course. There's Borderlands, which might or might not be good. There's Assassin's Creed 2, which I'm hoping will improve upon the first. After that, it's hard to say what will be great. Mass Effect 2 won't make it until the Spring, and I doubt we'll see Diablo 3 until the Fall of 2010. It just looks a bit thin to me.

Crysis is a great game anyway whether you admit it or not I hope your not one of the anti crysis people who hasn't even played the game but disses it.Crysis 2 - 0%.
Remember Crytek already abandoned PC exclusiveness. With that its unlikely they'll continue the "planned" Crysis triology.

yeah, it is fairly thin compared to the past two years, BUT, we do have a very good possibiliy of Starcraft 2 hitting shelves, which would be obviously be huge. Although, Diablo 3 is probably the next game that i'll get all worked up for though, and most likely wait in a line to get on launch(oh I can't wait).
Oh, let's not forget about Alpha Protocol from Obsidian, looks very promising, and it's finally a title Obsidian has full creative freedom on. Idk, hopefully it turns out nice.
Also, there is rumor that ME2 will launch before the end of 09 (was on some blog site, so take it with a grain of salt), but we'll probably know for sure after tomorrow's MS conference.
Oh, and if STALKER CoP launches, that would be another big plus, but I have a feeling it's going to get delayed into '10.
Who knows, there's plenty of games to get excited for, we just have to wait a bit longer. As for RPG's, I really wish we'd see more. There's a title called Dungeon Hero that's supposed to come out in the Fall, not sure what's going on with it, but it looks like a promising ARPG.
Overall, I'd love a Valve announcement sometime this week, but I doubt we'll see anything from them this year :(
Lots of promise, but too many question marks

You're right - this is going to be an interesting week, because of E3.
I'm just a bit worried that too many of the titles announced this year at E3 won't be released until next year.
I suppose I should've added Stalker: Pripyat (or however you spell that) to the list. I've been critical of Clear Sky at this forum, but that doesn't mean I'm hoping that the new Stalker game will fail - exactly the opposite - my hope is that the new game will be the best of the lot... it's been an awfully short development cycle for the Pripyat game though? That worries me a bit.
And yeah I forgot about Valve - it's high time that they released Episode 3. Half-Life 2 just blew me away on its release day. But the episodic content has been too sporadic. I'm still surprised at myself for not having gotten through either of the episodes. I never finished Episode 1, and I can't seem to start Episode 2. I always quit playing after fifteen minutes - it's just not working for me... the fascination factor, which I'm still feeling with Fallout 3, just isn't there anymore. That said, I'd probably buy Episode 3 the week of its release if there was nothing new being released at the time.
I'm going to go check out this Alpha Protocol from Obsidian. Obsidian did you say? Man, I LOVED Neverwinter Nights 2. I had no idea that Obsidian had been working on a new game. LOL!
Nice post, guy. You're obviously as fascinated by PC Gaming as I am. PC gaming is the greatest hobby in the world, because ours is evolving at an alarming rate. I love PC gaming, and for the life of me can't understand why everyone else doesn't love it too?

Ohh...You must play the HL Episodes, although Ep2 is far more epic, do yourself a favor and finish them both out(only a few hours each). The ending to Episode 2 will have you frothing at the mouth for Ep3, very dramatic imo. I just can't wait.
You can definately feel the wheels slowing down on the PC side of things, as far as solid exclusives. Just a year ago we could count on many. Now, everything seems multiplat which is fine in most situations, but it's always nice to see a game made for the PC and to it's stregnths. Take the upcoming game Section 8. Section 8 was originally a PC title that is now multiplat, but it still has manintained that PC feel that we all love(Not to mention that it's very "Tribes" like in nature). According to the recent Idle Thumbs podcast (outstanding), Chris Remo said it's coming along nice and it has a very PC feel to it. Games like this that are under the radar will hopefully put smiles on our faces one day. Hopefully we get some answers this week, and especially at the Games Convention in Europe.
