What do Gold-membership Widnows Live members get for Halo 2 PC?

I just got Halo 2 for the PC today, installed it, and did a quick run-check on it. I was concerned to how much online features i can get on the game by just staying on free membership, but when i got online, i could join games, make games, customise games, and pretty much do all you'd expect from a free online game. What do gold membership players get for this game?

Nothing. Games for Windows - LIVE is completely free now. As Agent_Kaliaver said, they removed the gold subscription and all fees associated with it, because they found no one was paying for it.

Your not going to find many people playing Halo 2. Last time I saw there were a lot of private server that had no players and four or five servers the had a handful of players.

A better title would have been CoD4:MW or CoD:WaW.

Well it does do anything. Except your profile has a gold strip on it and you can play on gold only servers. It was based on Xbox live which last i heard gold had benefits that weren't free. But you don;t need it and just as well because Halo 2 is a great game.
