Thats not really an excuse if you still live with your parents and don't have pay rent/bills. If you work only 20 hours a week (which is very little work), you'd have enough to build a decent computer in only about 2 months; and thats assuming you only get paid federal minimum wage.

i was gonna say just that. minimum wage is up to like 7 something, so just work a ton. you should have gotten a job over the summer and worked like six hours a day. then you would probably have enough to build a rig by now
Well it's all good for those that live in countries such as US, where living standards are higher, but where i live PC parts are kind of expensive. If i would want to build a PC that could run all the latest games on high i would have to spend about 8000 LT (LT- our currency) and the average wage in our country is about 1200 LT. Only a really good job could help me  dykunas
Where do you live? i Live in England and the parts are pretty expensive.

Lithuania - eastern Europe
lol dude, if you want a good computer, youre going to need funds from somewhere, so obviously, get a job.
The only other 'good' way is if youre at uni and your student loan scheme (for where-ever you live) lets you get course related costs, of course you'll have to pay it back sometime but thats in addition to lots of other stuff so meh.
Stay away from any loan scheme where you pay interest. If you really want a gaming rig that much, get a job!
Edit - ah sorry, i didnt read your situation. While im sorry for you, theres still really few other options. Maybe check your bank to see if you can get an interest free loan somehow, and pay it back over time? It probably wont have a high enough limit to get a full computer though, if its really that expensive... is your exchange rate really that bad ?:?
I'm currently enlisted in the US Army. They pay us extra over here on the DMZ, so i'm getting about 1800 a month all for myself, no bills, no nothing.
I bought this computer with army money, and still have over 6k saved up. I'm only 19 too and have gotten 24 college credits so far. Not that bad, but I didn't join for the money or benefits, but I aint complainin either. It does suck being away from family, but hey, at least I can be grateful i'm not living in a foxhole in the Ardennes in the winter of '44 or possibly getting blown up in Iraq where a lot of my buddies are.
Stay safe guys, I miss ya.
