I think a total of 5 would be good. Too much of it would be tiresome. But if they come up with more Leonardo Tech and wonderful storyline we would not mind even if the lineage continues till Desmond's daddy. :)
What say?

I think 5 it's ok. Two more about past events, and then a fifth about Desmond Miles on the present day... damn that would be sweet :)
they can keep going as far as I care, those games are rock solid, and imo they have improved upon each consecutive release.
though I would like them to wrap it up within the next three or so releases. I definitely want tosee a modern-era game, maybe make it a bit more cat-and-mouse, like Splinter Cell
It end with Desmond Miles. But they need to do it soon. The series is starting to become...dare I say it... " "Elann2008Call Of Duty??

I had always thought of Brotherhood as a cheap cash-grab and the begining of the fall of the series and i could not have been more wrong when I finally got around to playing it this summer! It ended up being one of my favorite games of year and I have high hopes the next one will be just as good. Keep them coming I say, but we might need a new character soon because they can't go with Desmond/Ezio forever.
I thought the same thing tbh... and when I heard about Revelations so soon after... hmm, I'm sceptical. I thoroughly enjoyed Brotherhood, definitely the best of the series, but I feel they have stuck with Ezio for too long. Make a third (new character and setting) and call it a day. I want a sequel to Prince of Persia 2008 please!I had always thought of Brotherhood as a cheap cash-grab and the begining of the fall of the series and i could not have been more wrong when I finally got around to playing it this summer! Yup. I find AC series to be quite boring. I can't have an opinion? Oh, I should leave and remind myself that this is Gamespot.com. I can't have an opinion.Stale.[QUOTE="Elann2008"][QUOTE="guildclaws"]Call Of Duty??JangoWuzHere

To be honest, I don't think I can stand another game watching the same running and climbing an sprinting and climbing while you just hold a button. Yearly instalements do that, it gets tiring.Another thing. Brotherhood had no coherency. Ubisoft had the game split between five studios and it really shows. You're doing a bunch of fragmented chains of quest with almost no plot-line, some characters are introduced not developed and just vanish, after doing some side quests the game just ends.
They should get this **** together and make a proper installment and a new protagonist and setting. They are so desperate for yearly releases, they canned the 3DS version, and used that idea and setting for another yearly game.

Weird considering that you liked AC 2 and Brotherhood is way better.DanielDust
Too many restrictions this time. I grew tired of time limits, distance limits, killing limits etc.
Rome isn't an interesting city.
I don't know what the hell happens in the story.
They didn't understand what was great about renovating the villa and the town in AC2. Renovating Rome is bollocks, just a boring padding. Same goes for investments.
The Brotherhood mechanic was also beyond stupid.
Too much linear platforming. I'd buy Prince of Persia if I want that.
It ended up feeling like a very mechanical game, it lost the soul and charm of the previous entries for the sake of more content that's about as entertaining and complex as a bad Facebook game.
Two more, Revelations and III. No more stupid spin-offs, no more extending storylines further than they need to be. Just end it and let the team work on a new IP.

Jango you are so right man.. just freaking sad about this place.. As for the topic they can go on as long as they want, just don't make a release every year, but every 2 or 3 years and people will eat their hats in anticipation..So Assassins Creed began with a great story about the templars rising up in a war in terrorism in the first. Assassins Creed 2 followed suit. Brotherhood was a great game and Revelations sounds like a filler. This should be a sci fi series at heart, PoP comparisons are unnessesary and irrelevent.

No man, it was your response. You weren't 'simply' asking a question nicely. You implied that we should all love AC series or something. Sure, it's at the highest point of the franchise for you, but not for me. Like I didn't think much of Brotherhood but you probably loved it. That's what I was trying to say. Your response implied that I shouldn't have an opinion on something. I was being sarcastic to your response. I'm not upset or mad even but I can see why some people will mistake something I said as a negative response. But yeah, I'll ease up on the sarcasm. :PWTF??:lol:I was going through imdb.com and I read there that if possible theses guys can make upto 37 Assasins Creed Games. Thats too much.

What the **** Ubisoft? Let those people work on something else.

How many pieces of eden are there any way. I thought there is just one which is the apple we saw in ACB.
According to wiki there are 6 apples, 4 unique ones, some crystal skull fragments in America (Central and S) and possible unconfirmed more, but in AC you're trying to get a few pieces to stop the Templars from ruling the world, so I assume they possess almost all the pieces and what's left are a few that are some of the most powerful or crucial to unleashing the full power of the others, and the Assassin's order last hope to defeat them.AC refers to many Bible verses and many other things from Bible, if that is considered then AC:Revelations has to be th last game as Revelation is the last book in the Bible in which many things are revealed but most of these things are written in very mysterious manner which are difficult to understand in a glance ,this might be the case in AC:Revelations as well. Revelealing much and yet keeping many things to ponder upon. :).

There are fifty Pieces of Eden. I doubt we'll see many more in the games though. At least, I hope not.
