What do you think steam will do?

So this is what happend...

I bought left for dead 2 yesterday and accidently bought it for my old account which I don't use. I have contacted steam support and asked them if I can change it to my new account. I still havn't had a reply but I have a feeling that they will say they cannot transfer it. I havn't installed the game or anything yet and I also attached my reciept to the email. Anyone else had this happen to them? If so what was the outcome? What do you guys think steam will do? Also, anyone know how long steam take to reply? It's been 24 hours so far.

Its normal for the long wait.

I had a german version of TF2 (no idea how i got that) with no blood & gore.

So i sent an e-mail to support and it took them a week to fix it.
