What does a dual slot cooler on a graphics mean???

Basically what the title says,does it mean i need two pci-e slots on my mobo? or does it mean i need to connect two pci-e 6 pin slots from my psu to it or ? Just some help would be great.

The graphics card is the size of 2 slots. Check out the images here (http://images.google.com/images?q=dual slot pcie card).

It means that the hot air is exhausted better from your case aswell as what the other guy said!
