Vista stands for Viral Intent Sabotauging trough authenticity. But seriously speaking it's Microsoft's new operating system. Windows XP is still better for the price.

Why must people say things like this? I have yet to encounter any problems with Vista. In fact, I have experienced fewer "headaches" in Vista than I have in XP. I have yet to see a BSoD. I have yet to see any of these CTD in games. Granted, I went for Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and my system is fairly new (E6600, 2GB RAM, 7900GS, X-Fi sound card), but after dinking around in Vista for the past couple months, I can almost not bear going back to XP (laptop and old desktop still run XP...and it's a pain going back).
