Oldschool Ultima Online.
I still remember the name of the first PK who killed me, lol. It wasn't my first MMO (played Underlight before it) but it was the first one I'd played with my friends. To this day it still makes me mad that Everquest came out and completely shifted the MMO genre onto it's currentequipment-centric raiding grindfest. To think where it would be today if it had followed Ultima Online's lead... such a shame :P
Some of my best memories have to come from the original Everquest. Seeing 3-4 goblins bashing on some poor sarnark trying to escape. Also no other game ever made me feel like old EQ when exploring because of the danger. Todays mmo death is just a very minor annoyance.
The very first Fallout.....
The very first Warcraft...
The very first Command and Conquer...

I swear, a tear almost came to my eye just reading those 3 lines :)
RPGs:- Ultima 7 (Blackgate), Betrayal at Krondor, Baldur's Gate series.
Adventure:- Indiana Jones and Atlantis, Prisoner of Ice, Police Quest I, Quest for Glory IV, Monkey Island 2
Strategy: (too many to count)- Civilization I, Masters of Orion I & II, Masters of Magic, Dune, Dune II, Stronghold (D&D), Colonization, MAX, UFO Enemy Unknown, XCom-series, Warcraft I and II, Ascendency, Settlers I & II.
I don't play much FPS but the first Doom was quite fun.

Bitter? :)
I'm gonna have to go with the original Age of Empires, since I have a couple of memories from that game that really stick out. One was a multiplayer match between a friend of mine where we just had a big villager fight. Another was a little custom map where each person got like 20 of the little laser troopers and you have to take out the other players wonder.
Diablo 2.
That's really the only game that I am really bummed out because my Sorceress got deleted...lol
All the Space quests and Police quests series...
Out of this world
Alone in the dark
Geoff Crammond Grand Prix 2
Original CIV
Test Drive II & III
Original Sim City
Good old times... nothing to worry excepts my video games and homeworks...

Bitter? :)
Extremely, hehe ;)Quake 2 DM: Lithium 2.0 was so amazing. The weapons were so perfect, and the power ups gave it that extra burst of excitemeny every once in awhile. No FPS will ever recreate that experience.
For PC, the first 2 Prince of Persia games, the very first Duke Nukem game (AKA: Duke Nukum ), also Doom and Doom 2, those Hugo games (none of them were really good but they were fun to play), Commander Keen was great as well, Starcraft and Diablo were amazing games too.
Dune 2: Battle for Arakis - Very first PC game I ever played, and I would say the very first RTS I played.
Wolfenstein 3D - Ahhh the memories. This would be my introduction into FPS games :P
The Secret of Monkey Island - I can remember my dad and I getting rather frustrated at this game over and over. I do believe this one got me into the whole puzzle solving genre.
So many memories... *tear*
C&C...
I still play the original :)
CroatianPatriot
damn same, just played through it a couple months ago!
Star Control 2: The first time I clicked on that gas giant and it contained life forms I like to jump out of my seat.
C&C the first: The first time I heard incomming nuke made me feel like I did as a child during the 60's. Cold clammy feeling of dread and fear.
And KOTOR 2. There was a moment.
The first game Space Invaders for the Commodore 64, and Tank Battle for Atari 2100.
First PC Games: 688 Attack Sub for IBM PC Only late 80's, (specifically 1987 -88),and took up a 5 1/4inch floppy to play.
Second PC Game(s): We had a Apple 2e at home as well so my dad thought it would be great to get me Mathblaster Multiplication & Division, and the original Oregon Trail for the Apple 2e. I think that was in 1988.
