What game would you like to see made or...

make a comeback to the PC?

I would have originally said a mech combat game, but one is already coming out in MechWarrior. Other than that I would like to see a game that is like Star Wars: Empire at War meats Homeworld 2. I think most of us can agree that Homeworld 2 had better gameplay was better, however I liked the Empire at War galaxy and the ability to assault planets.

Outcast (bought the old version from GOG and it rocks would love a remake with 3D graphics)

I could be here all day listing games I would love to see remade, it is a shame that publishers today don't look back to their older catalogues and see if some of their titles couldn't be refreshed for the 21st Century.

You know what I want?

I want a studio led by industry greats and powered by the best, most respected modders to do nothing but remake great, older games worthy of an update...imagine Deus Ex done in the Unreal 3 Engine!

They could buy the rights, or ideally it would be done for charity (this "studio" would be a sideproject for people in the industry) and any profit made could be given away. There are tons of games out there that are just sitting there, with no plans in the future to be done with them.

Imagine Mechwarrior 3 being remade, Deus Ex remade, Tie Fighter brought to a new engine...I think that'd be fun

I want freaking Prey 2. Prey is one of my favorite shooters ever, alongside Quake 4, Far Cry and Halo: Combat Evolved.

I would love to see a System Shock 1 and 2 remake with unreal 3 engine or something better. A homeworld 3 would be also nice. Also would be nice if there was a company that dealt with remaking classics like someone said before.

yea, I thought Prey was amazing, and easily one of the most underrated games in history. It had so many "OMG!" moments, and it was just entertaining and fun.

I would like to see an MMO that actually stepped out and tried things without failing hardcore like AoC. I really lament WoW being the only sensible choice in MMO gaming because all other games are just too dead community wise, or too dissapointing content wise.

I would like to see Diablo 3 before I die.

I would like to think that there will someday be a Doom 4.

I would like to see another RTS in the same venue as Empires: Dawn of the Modern World.

I would like to see another great overhead adventure game a la Diablo from another company. Titan Quest and Torchlight were both promising, but I could use with a new one, perhaps with a new setting, and Coop not viewed as 'unnecessary'.

I would like to see a new FPS/RPG combo a la Deus Ex (Not IW), with as much, if not more, customization as the original Deus Ex game, and with as many branching storyline options.

I would like to see Hitman 5.

I would like to see The Elder Scrolls V, and hopefully have it be more like Morrowind than Oblivion.

Deus Ex needs a remake. In fact all it needs is a graphics over haul of the first game and you instantly have game of the year.

These, add in any Dungeons and Dragon game made with the Dragon Age ****of combat but the stories and pacing of old.

A good James Bond game for all platforms and one with a good multiplayer
