Please tell me some great games which i can play on my pc:
CORE2DUO 2.2GHZ, 1GB RAM, INTEL 945G.

My intel chipset supports pixel shader v2.0 but does not support vertex shader. it has 128 MB video RAM. It does not support T&L support.
But 3d analyze did the trick. It completely took care of T&L. It Emulated pixel shader 2.0, and it can make any game with minimum GPU of 32MB with T&L requirements work nicely.
in short it is similar to GForce 3 card and below.

I like RPG's FPS/TPS/action/adventure/racing. I dont actually like Simulations and stratergy but if they are good, it's ok with me

I've already tried these to work decently

call of duty 1 (excellent)
brothers in arms: road to hill 30 (using 3d analyze v 2.36b)(good)
GTA: san andreas (not bad)
NFS UG2 and MW(black edition) (good)
farcry 1 using patch and 3d analyze (not bad)

thanx.......

You should get a new graphics card.... Like at least an 8600gt. They're cheap as chips and will run on any power supply. It will get you playing any game you want on med/high settings, apart from Crysis.

ATI 4670 is probably better and cheaper than an 8600gt. You can get a 9600gt for around $95.

I'll check it out but will it conflict with 3d Analyze v2.72b? I use 3d Analyze to run most of my middle end games( requires 32-64 MB GPU RAM with Transform and Lighting(emulated).

I'll try that but some good games of 2004-2005 will be better. I've heard some games of 2006 also works like F.E.A.R. How about Some RPG and Racing

imo save up some money and get a 100$ graphics card, itll be a world of difference and you'll be able to play pretty much anything, another 50 bucks and you can get 2 gigs of value ram. or another 1 gig.

Gaming with that thing is like driving in a car with three wheels, it might get where you want but it wont be very pleasant... even if $60 card will blow that thing away.

anything from 2004 and back. Playing new games with that integraded card is something you must forge. Just buy an ati 4670 for abiut 80 also buy an extra 1gb of memory for about 20 ( a total 100 is nit bad ) and your set to play 95% of games with high details at decent resolutions

Well, actually I can play med/high on Crysis. Every setting is set on enthusiast (talking about Warhead), except shadows (minimum), and objects and shaders (mainstream).

Im not sure why people reccomend a 8600gt any more when the 4670 is in a similair price range and offers Much better performance(similair to 8800gts 320mb or 3850) and will run on any power supply.

You could probably play vampire the masquerade. Try morrowwind its an old game but its awesome.

If you upgraded your memory and got a new graphics card you would have a pretty decent gaming pc. Good enough to play new releases.

Well, I wouldn't recommend it either, I was just saying you could play med/high on Crysis with it.

Does the 4670 support DX10 and give good framerates when DX10 is used???? In case of 8600 DX10 is limited .Many DX10 games lose their framerates even at medium resolutions in 8600. But for DX9 it is good. and one more, what is its power supply?

Why do you people make him buy a new graphic card instead of just recommending older/less demanding games? Like everyone else, he probably missed an insane amount of awesome games that would run just fine on that computer.

ATi 4670. If you gonna buy a new vga buy that instead of the much slower 8600gt.The 4670 will run crysis at mostly high settings at 1280x1024 and as for other games all high even with a bit of AA at 1280x1024 and yes it will give good frame rates in dx10 not as good as dx9 but you should be able to play most of dx10 games at decent framerates and resolutions (expect a 10-20% less performance than dx9). But if you want good old games try max payne 1 and 2, deus x, system shock 2

I don't know about FC2, but Bioshock and CoD4 will run fine on an $80 card... and a 9600gt is only like $100...

But 9600gt is most suited for DX10 will give poor performance for DX9 games right

And i checked the specs for farcry2 and even crysis: warhead.both can run well on 8600 at 1280X720(widescreen) and that's my monitor's max.So keep that in mind - i DONT NEED A DVI OUTPUT OR HDCP OR OTHERS LIKE THAT.

I have only the analoguo connector.

9600gt will do just fine at dx9. Also, HD 4670 is better than a 8600gt.

I am doing that. I am getting a HD 4670 but I'm not sure about my psu. it shows two outputs 245 watts and 200 watts.

so is the MAX OUTPUT 245watts or 445watts(sum of the two)?

A lot of the time the PSU specifications are listed on the side of the PSU that would otherwise be hidden because it is resting against the inside of your case. You may have to unscrew it and and remove it to check it out.

dude, I'm no tech wiz or hardware engineer to mess with my psu casing. I'm just an average guy with limited computer knowledge. This would be the first time i'm gonna open up a psu. Anyways I'll give it a try, If its easy, maybe I'll get the rating.
