i'm going to assume this isn't boasting and you're genuinely innocent

you can play everything currently on the shelves at pretty much full max settings, you will be able to play everything coming out for the rest of this year and most of next at max - or high - settings

it's not the best money can buy, but that is a damn nice computer

4400+ will allow you to play Pong on medium settings... Dont even bother buying this computer. Its just an oversized calculator.

This is a prebuilt from Dell...........

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ * upgrade to 5000 (its a smart move, trust me) or at least 4800

Windows Vista Home Premium

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs  *Great!

250GB HDD (7200RPM)*ok, but upgrade if its cheap (30 bucks or less)

16x DVD+/-RW Drive * I'd upgrade to 18x

8800GTS (320 MB) *Perfect

So what games can i run? And on what settings?

xfactor19990

Theres a revision, after that, your computer will play ANYTHING on high for two years, and last for 3-4 years

Sell your old computer or younger sibling, its worth it, but you can at least get the 4800, overclock it, and youve got an awsome gaming computer.

That was a joke, right? You might not know but he is referring to the dual core (X2) 4400+ processor not the single core.

Unless you really were referring to the dual core. In which case I suggest you hit your head off something very hard.

-----------
Also, you suggested him to upgrade the dvd drive to 18x instead of 16x, that is a total waste of money..

You can't play any games. None. :|

Seriously, these threads are ridiculous. If you really are clueless enough to not know what kind of games your expensive, high-end PC can play, then just go look up the system requirements of the game(s) you want to play.

You would be perfectly fine if you weren't getting Vista. Many games ar ehaving issues running on Vista or are otherwise performing very badly.

Not really - STALKER with Full Dynamic Lighting and all settings on high (including some AA) will bring this computer to its kneas.
