I'm using Rocket Dock but there are other applications that are the same thing like Yz Dock and Objectdock.

Then, the pop out folder thing is a "docklet" called Stack Docklet.

It's a great experience and they capture the atmosphere of Lovecraft's writing pretty well. But it's hindered by a large number of flawed gameplay mechanics. The stealth is tedious trial and error. Many of the scripted sequences are too unforgiving, meaning you have to replay them over and over (which defeats the purpose of awesome scripted events). I ended it quitting it about half way in. It takes a hell of a lot of patience.

It's definitely worth trying, though. The atmosphere more than makes up for the flaws, if you have the patience for it.
