what games should i pick up and can run on max!!!

i have a decent laptop....... dual core 1.60 ghz each core

256mb nvidia 7600 Go

1GB Ram

enough space

what good FPS games would i be able to run at max setting... half life 2 CSS????

you should be able to run hl2 and cs:s on max or very high settings. far cry should run ok

im getting the oragne box for my 360 and CSS i dunno i want somin like farcry...... but better and will run fine

its not 1.6 per core, it doesnt work like that. i doubt you will max hl2 games on that laptop.

@ 1024x768 you should max out HL2, CSS, Fear, Doom3, Quake 4, Prey, and most games of 2005. but you'll still will have to tone down the AA.

ummm...no, sry he is right. it is 1.6 ghz per core, dual core just means he has two cores running at 1.6ghz, but they don't add to 3.2 if thats what your thinking.....just like two ppl with the same abilities working together to solve the same problem more efficiently. But, hl 2 isn't optimised to use dual core yet, and if u don't run in resolutions over 1024x768 (or higher if u lower anti-aliasing) ur laptop should run it fine....very high to max settings would be my guess.

ohh nad btw if i get vista and 1 gb of ram so i will have 2 gb total will i be able to run halo 2 because i really like the achievemnts. i loved them on 360 and ill love them on PC

i cant change my graphics card!!!

nvidia geforce 7600 Go 256mb
