What good FPS Single Player Games should I check out?

I have been out of action for a while, and I am trying to catch up. I was wondering what SP FPS games you guys can recommend. I am looking for a few. I just finished Quake 4 and CO2 not too long ago, but im looking for more good shooters.

I have the Orange Box, and it's great. I am curious about all the games I have missed in the past year. Like Stalker, PainKiller, Prey...etc. There are so many, and don't know which ones to play first.

Your rig is fine for Crysis(this one is out next month), COD4(this one too),FEAR...... I can't remember much though....

If you haven't played it Deus Ex is always a good choice. As some others have said Farcry and FEAR. I also highly recommend Serious Sam and Serious Sam the Second Encounter.

Bioshock, FEAR, FEAR Extraction Point, Crysis, COD4, UT3, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, Battlefield 2, MoH: Airbourne, Clive Barkers Undying, Delta Force Land Warrior, Half Life, Unreal, UT, Blacksite: Area 51, SiN Episodes: Emergence, Red Faction, Prey, Chaser, Chrome, Elite Force 1 and 2 etc etc.

If your wanting a little bit of oldschool top down shooter action check out Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds: Survivor.

There are lots of mods for Half-Life 2 as well as CSS and DoD:S (not exactly singleplayer but they're still great). Garry's Mod is also agood game to get once you get bored.

PREY is absolutlely the best if you like a lot of cool puzzles mixed in w/ all the killing. PAINKILLER is another one that's really excellent with different & interesting bad guys to shoot & a lot of hidden stuff if you like to poke around looking for it.
