Should I get the RADEON 3850, 8800gt or the 9600gt! Please tell me which one and why?

Definitely not the HD3850, and the 9600GT is too close in price to the 8800GT these days to make it a really viable option either. If your budget is around $150, go for the 8800GT/9800GT, or if you want to spend closer to $200 pick up the HD4850.

Also make sure you have a good enough powersupply since most brand named pre-built pc's won't have nearly enough for anything above a lowend card.

Tri-fan? That actually worries me. Every fan you stuff into a power supply takes up valuable space for more important power-related components.

Yeah... It's not always about wattage... I've seen a 950 watt PSU fail to power up a non-overclocked high-end system with only one 9600GT. Some parts are really picky about which PSUs you use.

depends how much you want to spend. the 8800gt is fastest and is great value but the other ones are also great value. you can't go wrong with any, they are all great
