Hi here are my current specs, - Windows xp professional - 2gb of ram - AMD sepron 2800+ - Radeon 9200 - 1.99ghz i was just wondering if it was possible to upgrade my graphics card etc without having to spend a lot of money and what you guys recommend, i have around £50 to spend and i am happy with searching for parts on eBay second hand, My main priority is a better graphics card, so if you guys could recommend one i could use without me having to buy a new motherboard i would much appreciate it. And if you could tell me how much of a difference it would make when gaming, i play Crossifre at the moment and get around 40 FPS constantly.

It has a 4X AGP slot, I doubt you'd be able to find anything compatible with that.

There's some good news though - it's so old you can get a way better PC for like £200.

kraken is right. TC just save up about 400 quid and drop it on dis beauty

http://3xs.scan.co.uk/ShowSystem.asp?SystemID=1579

same day shipping and HAWT SAUCE specs. you will be fragging on any game on medium or high before the week you buy is over

if your really stubborn about this just get an ATI radeon hd 2400pro or an 8400gs (needs to be agp x4/x8 slot) they are usually very cheap and there is literally a pile of them on the internet. also as a plus the 2400pro is made of mithril and i have deemed it indestructible.

Just build a new one completely, since your current PC is too old to be compatible with today's parts especially your motherboard.

There is another option. If you really don't want to spend a great deal of money you could pick up an old 6800 gt (make sure it is AGP) from Ebay for £10-15.

As long as you don't want to play anything recent it would give you a good boost in older games from the mid-2000s. This does raise another problem though in that you may need a Power Supply upgrade as well.

Scan are good, a friend of mine needed a PC fast and ordered from them. It was great value for money and arrived fully built and tested within 48 hours. I opened it up and was impressed, they probably cabled it better than i could have. Support is good too.
