I play on both platforms and the multi on PC isn't that bad. If you have a group of people you already know ready to play with, an easy way to bypass the Ubiserver problems is to get Hamachi and create a virtual LAN network. It tends to be more stable than most game servers. And it allows me to play System Shock 2 co-op, so major points for that.
i've borrowed it from a friend, and single player is awesome, beat it twice. but i've heard online is horrible/buggy. what's wrong with it? why doesnt anyone play it? i'd buy it if it didnt have so many problems. what kind of problems are there? why does no one or almost no one play it? or is it worth a buy? i watched some videos on it, and it looks awesome. but i dont want to buy it if its buggy, crashes, or no one plays, or no one plays a few months down the road.ncderek
The single player is fine and I tried it onlien once. No mic support and disconnects...Maybe it was fixed by now.
well of course its better on 360, looks better, runs better, and hundreds of thousands play it. on pc only like 100 play it and theres lots of bugs.ncderek
I disagree, with the right hardware the PC version looks better than 360, and it runs identical in single player to the 360.
None of the bugs have been fixed yet so it still CTDs or kicks you for random reasons and there are no real servers, it is also unoptimized and looks like garbage....Everything has an orange glow and if you compare PC and 360 screens it's pretty obvious which one looks better.PC gets hardly any graphics options so its impossible to change stuff to suit your rig unless you go through the files. The gameplay it self is fun but the bugs and poor performance outweigh everything good about the game. Why they decided to port a game to PC from a console is beyond me >.>
well of course its better on 360, looks better, runs betterncderek
Not necessarily... If you have a very nice graphics card then it will look better on PC AND run better most likely... The 360 version only runs at 30fps, though it still looks excellent.
As to the original post, 360 version is better for online. It just has a larger community and it'sa lot more active and not buggy like the PC version. Really, Rainbow Six: Vegas isn't a good port for the PC... Single Player is fun, but Multi Player is a lot better on Xbox Live. I'd recommend getting it for the 360.
Runs horrible, looks horrible, the AI has issues, and the language is ver offensive.dunamistheou
Language!?!?!? OH NOES! Lol, sorry... I couldn't help it. I for one thought the AI was great, but I didn't play it on PC too much so I'm not sure.
